I am a 500-hr ERYT and hold an MBA. I've been teaching Yoga full time for the last 15 years in many capacities including adults, youth of all ages, at-risk youth, public and private schools. My mission in life is to bring balance and harmony to our youth to pave the way for a better future.

PHYLLIS SMITH
Co-Founder, CEO
I'm a New York girl who married a Texan, and now call North Texas my home of nearly 30 years. I've always been athletic, but fell in love with Yoga around 2003. I received my Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) 200-hr certification in 2006, and my 95-hr Registered Children's Yoga Teacher (RCYT) in 2015.
Until recently, my "day job" was as a producer in broadcast journalism that included the Today show in New York and CBS Radio in Dallas where I held several positions including radio host, producer and reporter.
In 2012, I left CBS radio to work at eWomenNetwork where I helped establish their media department, wearing several hats including video producer/editor, video coach and main stage producer for their annual conference.
While I worked my "day job," I co-founded Live Free Yoga in 2016, and then left to dive into the business full time in 2018. I am now living my passion as a change-agent for youth and those who serve them by offering yoga and other mindfulness-based programs in schools and through professional development.
Our mission is to help youth and adults succeed by creating a path of inner-peace, inner-stability, compassion, confidence, resilience and clarity of purpose.

Amanda Hunter

I left my job as a middle school teacher and received my 500-hr Yoga Teacher certification in 2011. Teaching teenagers the simplicity of mindful breathing and self-awareness is such a rewarding experience. Knowing that we are helping teens learn how to deal with daily stresses and think beyond the here-and-now has allowed me a chance to step back and look at my own life. I find pause and take a breathe before I quickly respond in anger. I notice if I take a few minutes to sit and focus that I face the world with a kinder heart and more awareness for others.
Michelle (Michie) Kelly
Live Free Yoga Teacher
I danced my way through childhood in San Juan, Puerto Rico. With a strong passion for movement, I gravitated to Zumba, for which I received my teaching certification in 2010. As a Zumba teacher, I was inspired to see my students connect with their inner spark.
Conscious of the power of physical movement to influence change, I began exploring yoga. I received my 200-hr Registered Yoga Teaching (RYT) certificate with a focus on Hatha in 2014. I love seeing my students find joy and balance in their lives as they connect body and mind through the breath.
While diving into my own spiritual practice I discovered a strong passion for coaching, which I parlayed into my own business, Move to Love You. I help women connect with their inner spark in order to achieve self-love, compassion and be happier, healthier versions of themselves.
